The ARO 67237 Diaphragm Failure Detector Kit is designed for use with compatible ARO air-operated diaphragm pumps to provide an indication of diaphragm failure. The system uses two electro-optic polysulfone liquid sensors, one installed in each pump air chamber, to detect the presence of liquid resulting from a diaphragm failure.
The detector components are rated for a maximum of 30 VDC and meet the requirements for a Class I, Division II, Group C environment. The system can be connected to an appropriate output device, such as a valve, buzzer, or light, to provide the required response when liquid is detected.
