The ARO PD20S-ASS-STT-B is a metallic Expert Series 2-inch air-operated double-diaphragm pump designed for dependable, high-volume fluid delivery even at low air pressure. Its stainless steel air motor section, fluid caps, manifold, and hardware, combined with 316 stainless steel seats, PTFE valve balls, and PTFE diaphragms with Santoprene® backup, provide a durable fluid-handling configuration for demanding industrial and process applications.
Built for reliable pneumatic operation, the Expert Series design incorporates ARO's patented SimulShift™ air valve technology to help avoid stalling and Quick Dump™ check valves that divert cold exhaust air away from ice-prone components to help reduce freezing and downtime. Its bolted construction and serviceable air and fluid sections support dependable operation and convenient maintenance, making the pump well suited for fluid transfer, filling, recirculation, batching, and other industrial process applications.
Application suitability should be confirmed based on the specific fluid, concentration, temperature, viscosity, chemical compatibility, solids content, and operating conditions. Maximum temperature limits are based on mechanical stress only, and certain chemicals can significantly reduce the maximum safe operating temperature.
