The ARO PD30A-AAP-CCC-C is a metallic Expert Series 3-inch air-operated double-diaphragm pump designed for dependable, high-volume fluid delivery even at low air pressure. Its aluminum air motor, fluid caps, and manifold with carbon steel hardware, combined with Hytrel® seats, valve balls, and diaphragms, provide a durable fluid-handling configuration for demanding industrial and process applications.
Built for reliable pneumatic operation, the Expert Series design incorporates ARO's patented SimulShift™ air valve technology to help avoid stalling and Quick Dump™ check valves that divert cold exhaust air away from ice-prone components to help reduce freezing and downtime. Its bolted construction and serviceable air and fluid sections support dependable operation and convenient maintenance, making the pump well suited for fluid transfer, filling, recirculation, batching, and other industrial process applications.
Application suitability should be confirmed based on the specific fluid, concentration, temperature, viscosity, chemical compatibility, solids content, and operating conditions. Aluminum wetted components must not be used with halogenated hydrocarbon solvents that may react with the aluminum, and models containing aluminum wetted parts must not be used with food products intended for human consumption. Maximum temperature limits are based on mechanical stress only, and certain chemicals can significantly reduce the maximum safe operating temperature.
